After having three children, I soon discovered that it was much easier for us to stay at a family oriented hotel when we are on vacation. There are usually lots of different things that the kids can do to keep them occupied, and they take into account the cost of having kids. This past month we stayed at great family lake taupo accommodation, and it was a perfect place for the kids. There was a play area, a television and a DVD player in our room, a great BBQ area and we could even request a babysitting service if we wanted to. We were also very close to town, which meant our oldest child could walk there and go to the shops.
