The island of Fuerteventura has a reputation for being quite breezy and you’ll know what I mean if you stay in one of the many Fuerteventura hotels available. Its not a bad thing though. For starters the weather always feels pleasant, and not too hot as there is a constant breeze cooling you down. And also, you can make the most of the climate and weather here by getting involved with water sports that require a gust – like windsurfing. I had a go and it was so much fun, and I wouldn’t have travelled very far without the wind!
