I have very little doubt that Onlive will launch some time this year. I also think that the system has the workings of a great breakthrough technology. Having said this, I think that unless they can get some more investors on board, or sell the company to a larger corporation, they will have trouble with mass marketing of the Onlive video game system. Unlike Sony or Microsoft, Onlive does not have billions of dollars in their bank accounts. They can’t simply purchase thousands of ads spanning the various sorts of media. They will have to rely on social media perhaps to spread the word.
