As a tattoo artist, I’ve seen just about everything you can think of. And still, even I can be surprised at the strange and wonderful things people want to tattoo on themselves. Just the other day I had a girl come in with an idea for a tattoo. She wanted to tattoo the words “patent pending” on her butt. I did a very good job holding my laughter in, and talked with her about size and color. She ended up coming in the next night and getting it done. I didn’t even ask for the story behind that one, and she didn’t volunteer it!
